Hello! I am Jarissa and I am single.

I never imagined I would still be single at this age. I grew up thinking I would be married by 25, but life took a different path. Instead of settling down early, God has allowed me to experience unique opportunities—I have worked and traveled internationally, moved several times, and grown in ways I never expected.

Over the years, my focus has been to fully commit to each assignment God has given me. Since 2009, I have been deeply involved in church, serving and growing in my faith. Though I have never been approached, nor have I pursued anyone seriously for a lifelong commitment, I firmly believe there are plenty of people and good men in this world. I refuse to accept the idea that I am “intimidating” to some. My global experiences have expanded and enriched my perspective, and I love learning and engaging in deep, meaningful conversations.

In 2014, I started blogging about my journey in singleness and discovered that my words encouraged many of my single friends. Since then, I haven’t stopped motivating us to live faithfully and committed to God in this season of life. Singleness is more than just waiting—it’s an opportunity to grow, serve, and live fully in God’s purpose.
